Cheyenne Central control’s their own destiny. If Central wins at least one of their last 2 games of the season they will clinch the 8th and final playoff spot in the 2017 4A Conference Playoff’s.

Cheyenne South – 8th Seed possibility

  • Clinches 8th seed with victories in their last 2 games of the season (10-13 @ Campbell County and 10-20 vs. Cheyenne Central).
  • Forces a 3-way tie breaker (see below) if they lose to Campbell County, Central loses to Natrona and South defeats Central on 10-20-17.

Cheyenne Central – 8th Seed possibility

  • No worse than a 3 way tie breaker (see below).
  • Clinches 8th Seed with at least one victory in their last 2 games of the season (10-13 vs. Natrona or 10-20 vs. Cheyenne South).
  • Clinches if Cheyenne South loses last 2 games of the season (Central and South play against each other in the regular season finale) regardless what Campbell County does in their final 2 games due to head to head tie breaker against the Camels.

Campbell County – 8th Seed possibility

  • Clinches with victories in their last 2 games of the season (10-13 vs. Cheyenne South and 10-20 @ Kelly Walsh) and they need Cheyenne Central to lose their last 2 games of their season.

There is a possibility of a 3 way tie breaker if the following happens

Campbell County defeats Cheyenne South and then loses to Kelly Walsh

Cheyenne Central loses to Natrona County and Cheyenne South

Cheyenne South loses to Campbell County and defeats Cheyenne Central

If those 3 scenarios happen, then there would be a 3 way tie breaker for the 8th Seed after the regular season concludes on 10/20/17 as each team would finish the regular season at 1-8 with no head to head tie break.
